Summer Camps at BAM invite kids to stretch their imaginations with exceptional programming and enrichment in a safe, fun, and supportive museum environment. Each week campers explore a theme through art, craft, and design. Campers will experiment with materials, tools, techniques, and processes that enhance the communication of ideas through art. Each week culminates with an art display for families and friends to enjoy. We look forward to welcoming you and your camper!
Clay & Crafts with KidsQuest Children’s Museum - Sold Out
July 8 – 12
Age: Entering 1st-3rd grade
Full Day: 9am-4pm
Start your mornings at KidsQuest as we become art scientists. Learn the secrets behind three dimensional art and explore the chemistry of glazes. After diving into the science behind the art, we will head to the Bellevue Arts Museum for afternoons filled with creative projects. Get inspiration from fabulous art exhibitions, experiment with new materials such as fabric and recycled materials, and more. Campers will need to be dropped off at KidsQuest and picked up at Bellevue Arts Museum each day.

Myths & Magic - Sold Out

Age: Entering 1st-3rd grade
Full Day: 9am-3pm (with Ext. Care available until 5:30pm)
Spend a week creating spectacular art inspired by magical places and ancient myths! We will design colorful and fantastical artworks, while using our imaginations and learning new art-making methods.

Modern Art Adventures - Sold Out
August 5 – 9
Full Day: 9am – 3pm (with Ext. Care available until 5:30pm)
Age: Entering 4th-6th grade
We will explore both classic and modern art to gain inspiration for our own masterpieces! As we explore the galleries and create art, we’ll think about artists throughout time as innovators with both ideas and materials.

Little Artists - Sold Out

Half Day: 9am – 12pm
Age: 4-5 years old
Our littlest artists will explore the museum through art and story! Using our favorite children’s books as inspiration, campers will experiment with interesting art materials and use their imaginations to create fun projects throughout the week.

Makers Workshop
August 12 – 16
Half Day: 1pm – 5pm
Age: Entering 7th-9th grade
BAM’s inaugural middle school workshop will be exploring the Museum and surrounding Bellevue for inspiration while learning about different elements of art, craft, and design! Using those fundamental, artists will create site-specific projects throughout the four day workshop that culminates in a pop-up exhibition for family and friends of the artists.
